7/3 - 7/8
Tokyo - Object Making and Museum Visits
On the trip back to Tokyo the bullet train travels along the south side of Mt. Fuji. Students will view this signature panorama while enjoying traditional bento lunch boxes.
Tokyo is the capital of Japan with 13.62 million people, and many more commuters coming daily to study and work in the city. On their first day in Tokyo students will take the one day workshop Ma-terial by Sayumi Yokouchi to connect their brand new experiences in Japan with their own creativity. Starting on the second day, they will make their own objects with preferred materials they have collected during the trip. Shopping for materials, and visiting museums and temples are planned as well. Students will depart from Tokyo back to the US on July 8. |
